Toughness?
You know, we often feel that the military hazes too much, based on what we see in the mdia, but in reality, boot camp is preparing us for the realities of what occurs when it is time to serve overseas. When we take away the elements of the teardown in boot camp, we reduce our effectiveness in the field, which can cause people to be killed

Veterans like myself have spent so many years of our lives doing what we do best, which is a service to this country. When we are injured, killed, retired or just leave, our stories become that and we simply fade away. Our brothers and sisters feel the connection we have together, yet the general public is truly unaware of the experiences, fun times, bad times and what we learn, as means of adapting to the stressors that make who we are afterwards. I want to share this and to learn from each other, maybe even to inspire each other and just talk about some of these experiences.
